Man shot at S. Toledo laundromat

Victim taken to hospital after being shot in abdomen at facility

Major Kleen Laundromat on Airport Highway where a shooting occured.

A man was shot at a South Toledo laundry facility today, police said.

Officers were dispatched to Major Clean Laundry, 4040 Airport Hwy., at 5:22 p.m. for the report of a man who was shot. Officers were told to look for two suspects who fled toward Reynolds Road in a blue Dodge Neon.

Police said the victim was being taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officers described the wound as a through-and-through wound to the victim‘s side. They said the wound did not appear to be life threatening.
