Toledo Police officers secure the home of Thomas Przybysz, 30, in Point Place, after he was stabbed to death on May 23.
The May 23 stabbing death of Thomas Przybysz was planned and solicited, according to court documents.
Three Toledo men were arrested today and charged in connection with the death of Mr. Przybysz, 30. Charged with aggravated murder and murder is John Haugh, 38, of 5048 Tappan Ave. Charged with one count each of murder is Scott Warnka, 30, of 2907 117th St., and Roy Cerveny, 30, of 3224 138th St. All are being held in the Lucas County jail and are to be arraigned Monday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Police allege that Mr. Haugh hid near Mr. Przybysz‘s home, waiting for the victim to return from work. When the victim arrived, he was stabbed on his front porch at 4635 283rd St. in Point Place. The victim died at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center of multiple sharp-force trauma, according to an autopsy.
In court documents, Detective Gregory Mattimore alleges that Mr. Warnka “did organize, plan, and solicit the murder.” Mr. Cerveny is accused of organizing, planning, and assisting in the death, according to court documents.
A motive for the stabbing was not given and police did not answer calls seeking comment.
Mr. Haugh's mother, Charlotte Lindsley, 61, of the Tappan address, was also arrested today for allegedly assaulting Toledo police Sgt. Kevin Korsog when the sergeant showed up at the West Toledo home to arrest Mr. Haugh, according to court documents.
Ms. Lindsley is to be arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court on Monday.
