Information sought to help solve 2012 homicide

Toledo police are hoping someone can help them solve a 27-month-old homicide in which someone fatally shot a Toledo man in a car with two children seated in the back.

Ed R. Taylor III, 27, was shot three times in the head on the night of March 14, 2012, according to the Lucas County Coroner’‍s Office.

Taylor was found in a vehicle parked on East Weber Street near Maple Street in North Toledo, police said. The children, ages 2 and 4 at the time, were not hurt. Their mother, Kristian Scott, 24, also of Toledo, was shot but later recovered.
