Five juveniles, ranging in age from 10 to 16, were arrested Monday night for setting dumpsters on fire and breaking windows at Robinson Elementary School.

All of the youths were charged with arson; the 16-year-old male suspect was also charged with criminal damaging. The 10-year-old boy was released to his mother; the other four youths - which also included a 14 year old female, a 14-year-old male and a 12 year old male - were booked into the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center.

Toledo police officers were sent to the school, 1075 Horace St., at 11:53 p.m. for a report of juveniles throwing rocks. The five suspects were found on Forest Street, near a baseball field, as they threw a trash can into the road, according to a police report. Officers searched the school and found a front window shattered and two dumpsters -- one still burning -- that had been set ablaze.
