A Toledo man who allegedly set a house on fire last month was arraigned Tuesday.

Steven Harman, 62, of 517 Hiett Ave. is charged with one count of arson for allegedly setting two fires inside the residence where he was living on June 27, according to an affidavit filed in Toledo Municipal Court.

His bond was set at $5,000. He remained in the Lucas County jail on Tuesday evening. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 15.

Officials said Mr. Harman suffered first and second-degree burns on his face, hands, and head by not escaping the burning house fast enough. No other injuries were reported.
