Man, 42, dies after fall from roof

A 42-year-old man died after a two-story fall Saturday from a roof he was working on, a Lucas County deputy coroner said.

Curtis Fisher was pronounced dead at 5:10 p.m. at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Dr. Diane Barnett said.

An autopsy will be performed on Monday.

He was at a friend’s house, helping several other people with a roof project in the 1200 block of Mason Street when he fell about 4 p.m.

No one on the roof used safety devices, Dr. Barnett said.

Mr. Fisher’s address was not immediately reported.
