Two of four teenagers shot during an overnight disturbance in North Toledo were in critical condition Saturday.

Toledo police continued to investigate the incident.

James Arnold, 17, Keontae Johnson, 16, Marquise Robinson, 17, and Rondale Ensley, 17, were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds, Toledo police said. Their addresses were not released. Police identified the first three teens as victims in the shooting. The role of young Ensley was unclear.

The Johnson and Robinson youths were in critical condition Saturday at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, said Sarah Bednarski, a Mercy spokesman. She had no information about the Arnold and Ensley youths.

The shootings, in the unit block of East Streicher Street in the vicinity of the Lagrange Street Polish Festival, happened about 12:20 a.m. Saturday, police said. The festival closed at 11 p.m. Friday.

A 24-hour 7-Eleven carryout on nearby Lagrange Street was closed as police vehicles blocked the parking lot.

More police vehicles were outside the emergency room entrance to Mercy St. Vincent on Cherry Street, the closest trauma center.
