U.S. 23 in Sylvania Township has reopened after being closed in both directions so crews could respond to injury crashes, authorities said.

Lucas County EMS officials report that the injuries were not serious. The lanes reopened shortly before 9:30 a.m.

The crashes occurred on U.S. 23 just north of the I-475 split, one about 8:20 a.m. and the other about 20 minutes later, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
