Toledo man shot twice Sunday night
7/14/2014A Toledo man was shot twice Sunday night, police said.
Scottie Rice, whose age was not available, was struck in a hand and an ankle, according to an incident report. He was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment.
The victim told police he was at D and St. John streets at 10:48 p.m. when two juveniles on bikes rode toward him and one pulled out a gun and started to fire, shooting Mr. Rice in a hand. The suspect fled north on D Street and the victim ran east on St. John when the second suspect fired several times, hitting the victim in an ankle.
No charges have been filed.
