    NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio -- A person was injured when a tractor-trailer rig struck a pump at a gas station near this Wood County community today, authorities said.

    The driver was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

    The driver, whose name was not available, was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries, according to North Baltimore police.

    The incident occurred about 5:50 a.m. at Petro Stopping Center in the 12900 block of Deshler Road near I-75, just east of North Baltimore, police said. There was no fire.

    The incident is under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’‍s Office, which released no further details.

    North Baltimore is about 32 miles south of Toledo.
