1 killed, 2 injured in Hancock County collision
7/19/2014FOSTORIA -- A man was killed and a woman and two children were injured today when two sport-utility vehicles collided at Hancock County Road 23 and Washington Township Road 218, sheriff‘s deputies said.
The crash was reported about 6 p.m.
Richard Bailey, 54, of Fostoria, who drove one of the SUVs, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, Jody Fruth, 39, of Alvada, Ohio, and her passengers, Jordan Ferguson, 9, and Jasmine Ferguson, 1, were taken to Fostoria Hospital. Their conditions were not available.
The crash is under investigation, deputies said.
Fostoria is about 35 miles southeast of Toledo.
