Auto parts store in Monroe County robbed
7/27/2014MONROE -- The Advance Auto Parts store in Frenchtown Township was robbed at closing time Saturday, according to the Monroe County sheriff‘s office.
At about 10 p.m., a person wearing dark clothing and armed with a knife entered the store at 905 N. Telegraph Rd. and demanded money, the sheriff’s office reported.
After collecting money, the suspect forced employees into a back room and then fled the area in an unknown direction, the sheriff‘s office reported.
One employee sustained minor injuries.
