Person reportedly shot in South Toledo overnight

Authorities are investigating the report of a person shot in the back in South Toledo overnight.

The incident was reported to have occurred about 3:10 a.m. in the area of the Norwich Apartments on Norwich Road near Reynolds Road and Airport Highway.

The victim was reportedly taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, by private vehicle.
