Police investigate report of person shot in Toledo
7/28/2014Authorities are investigating the report of a person shot in the back in South Toledo.
The incident was reported to have occurred about 3:10 a.m. Sunday in the area of the Norwich Apartments on Norwich Road near Reynolds Road and Airport Highway.
The victim, identified as Dionte Winters, apparently did not suffer injuries that were life-threatening, police said Sunday night.
No suspects or other details were available. The victim reportedly was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, by private vehicle.
