City Council approves purchase of 3 SUVs

The Perrysburg City Council approved the purchase of three 2015 Chevy Tahoes as replacements for the police division.

Each costs $29,147 from Byers Chevrolet in Columbus for a total of $87,441.

Chief Dan Paez said they looked for local dealers, but couldn’‍t beat the price.

The vehicles that are being replaced will be be repurposed and used for other divisions in the city.

Chief Paez is expecting to buy on a rotation of three vehicles one year and two the next from now on.
