Search continues in Springfield Township subdivision for man who fell into private lake
8/11/2014Firefighters from Toledo and Springfield Township fire departments continue to search today for a man who fell from a pontoon boat into a private lake at the Hidden Harbor subdivision near King and Angola roads on Sunday.
A person in the water was reported shortly before 7 p.m. to the township fire department and Lucas County EMS.
Springfield Township fire chief Barry Cousino said a search was to resume this morning at 9:00 a.m. but search teams never got started because of severe weather in the area.
Chief Cousino said the search was able to resume about 1:00 p.m. today.
"As long as we have a window, we are going to continue with the search," he said.
No information was released identifying the man.
