A man accused of crashing his vehicle into two West Toledo bar bouncers was arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court.

Michael Odom, 55, of 5001 South Ave., is charged with aggravated vehicular assault and was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to an unusual incident report, Mr. Odom was driving on Dorr Street at 11:04 p.m. Friday when he hit Ryan Aridi and Kent Wallace, bouncers at Chaser Bar, who were on their way to work. Mr. Aridi was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio, for a collapsed lung, broken left arm, and broken pelvis. Mr. Wallace was “grazed” by the vehicle and did not suffer serious injuries, police said.

Police said Mr. Odom failed three sobriety tests and, when he took a breath test, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.179.
