A man accused of driving drunk and crashing his vehicle into two West Toledo bar bouncers was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Monday.

Michael Odom, 55, of 5001 South Ave. is charged with aggravated vehicular assault and was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. At the time of the crash, police said the suspect’s blood-alcohol level was 0.179.

According to an incident report, Mr. Odom was driving on Dorr Street at 11:04 p.m. Friday when he hit Ryan Aridi and Kent Wallace, bouncers at Chasers bar, who were on their way to work.

Mr. Aridi was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio, for a collapsed lung, broken left arm, and broken pelvis. Mr. Wallace was “grazed” by the vehicle and did not suffer serious injuries, police said.
