A Toledo man who was shot Sunday is wanted by police for allegedly taking part in a robbery and beating at the University of Toledo.

Darius Glover, 24, of 2644 Christie St., showed up at Toledo Hospital at 3:40 a.m. Sunday with a gunshot wound, police said. His injuries were described as nonlife threatening. Mr. Glover told police he was running from an “incident” near Monroe Street and Central Avenue when he was shot. He then ran to the hospital.

It’s not clear if the shooting and crimes in which Mr. Glover is accused are related. University of Toledo police charged Mr. Glover on Aug. 24 with robbery and felonious assault. He’s accused of, with about 10 other people, “repeatedly punching, kicking, and stomping the head and body” of a man inside Presidents Hall, an on-campus residence, until the victim became unconscious.

Mr. Glover had not been booked into the Lucas County jail as of this morning.
