Two checkpoints scheduled in the Toledo area for Thursday

Lucas County will hold two checkpoints Thursday night to catch impaired drivers.

The traffic stops will take place from 8 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday at the intersections of State Rt. 2 and State Rt. 64, and Holloway Road and Garden Road.

A federal grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is funding the enforcement.
