  • Above, Killeen French-Hill, 9, takes a whack at the mold during a ‘Break Out the Bell’ event at Toledo Memorial Park on Sunday. Members of the community, firefighters, police, and local dignitaries used a sledgehammer to expose the 250-pound bronze bell that will be installed at Toledo Memorial Park’s 911 First Responders Last Call Memorial. The bell will be rung for the first time during a ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday at the park at 6382 Monroe St. in Sylvania. The memorial, which includes a steel beam from the World Trade Center, was dedicated last September.
