The incident happened at Meinke Marina on Corduroy Road, and was reported to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Waywood is accused of continuously punching, kicking, and pushing the woman while inside his boat. He allegedly took her vehicle keys and her cell phone away when she tried to call 911, according to the incident report.

He also threatened to kill her and told her “things would get bad” if she left, the documents show.
Another person reported the incident to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office when Mr. Waywood called that individual and heard the woman screaming for help in the background, according to the incident report.
The woman was transported to Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital for treatment, according to the sheriff’s office.
Mr. Waywood was taken to the Lucas County jail.
He was arraigned in Oregon Municipal Court Monday, where bond was set by Judge Jeffery Keller at $85,000 at no percent. Bond was later posted.
He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 7.
