A Toledo man is dead after a two-car crash Tuesday in West Toledo.
Officials pronounced Henry Harris, 68, dead at the hospital from injuries suffered about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Harris was driving eastbound on the 1800 block of West Alexis Road near Jackman road. He began to accelerate and swerve in his lane. Mr. Harris then went left of center, crossing the center turn lane, police said.
The car then collided with a westbound vehicle driven by Reginald Baugh, 53, of Toledo in the westbound inside lane. Mr. Baugh's vehicle went off the right side of the road.
Mr. Harris, Mr. Baugh, and Mr. Baugh's passenger, Michael Aiken, 44, of Toledo, were all taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital. A hospital spokesman said no patient information was available.
Mr. Harris may have suffered a medical emergency that contributed to the crash, police said.
