Northbound I-75 closed by crash north of I-475 in Toledo

Northbound I-75 was blocked early Thursday afternoon by a crash just north of the I-475 Jeep Split interchange.

The crash reported about 1:15 p.m. was near the Jeep/Willys interchange. According to emergency communications, two injured people from a vehicle involved were able to get out of that vehicle to receive medical assistance. Firefighters were approaching the scene going the wrong way on northbound I-75 from Phillips Avenue because of stopped traffic blocking their path from the south.
