Evans, Mackin will square off in Perrysburg mayor race<font face="verdana" size="1" color =#CC0000><b> New </b></font>

Retired Perrysburg Police Chief Nelson Evans and Councilman Thomas Mackin will compete in the Nov. 8 general election for mayor of the Wood County city.

Mr. Nelson had nearly half the total votes cast and finished about 20 percent ahead of Mr. Mackin, who had 29 percent of the votes, according to unofficial results from the Wood County board of elections.

Former Councilman Kim Klewer received less than 16 percent of the votes cast and Jonathan Order, former mayor and former councilman, garnered just over 6 percent of the votes.
