President Obama and likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney are to return to Ohio for campaigning over the next week.
The President is to visit the Cuyahoga Community College recreation center in Cleveland on Thursday in an event that is open to the public, according to a notice from the Obama campaign. The time of the event was not released.
The trip to Ohio will be Mr. Obama's first in more than a month. He was in the state May 5 for a campaign kickoff event at Ohio State University in Columbus.
Mr. Romney, who last campaigned in Ohio on May 7 in Euclid, is expected in Cincinnati on Wednesday for a fund-raising event.
He is to return Sunday during a bus tour called "Believe in America: Every Town Counts." Ohio stops on the bus tour are to include Newark and Troy, spokesman Christopher Maloney said Monday. Five other states are on the bus tour: Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
Ohio is one of about nine states considered to be toss-ups in the November presidential election.
