President Obama’s two-day bus tour will also include a stop in Sandusky, in addition to Maumee, the Obama campaign announced today.

The Presidential bus tour will pull up in Washington Park on Washington Street, between Wayne Street and Columbus Avenue, in Sandusky, for an ice cream social at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday.

The bus tour is being labeled the “Betting on America” tour.

Mr. Obama’s bus tour starts at the Wolcott House in Maumee at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, and ends for the day in Parma, Ohio, outside Cleveland, at 7:15 p.m. The trip concludes Friday with a 2:10 p.m. “Betting on Pittsburgh Event” at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Obama, a Democrat, is seeking re-election on Nov. 6 against Republican former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

The President’s tour will highlight his “commitment to investing in American workers and creating jobs here at home,” according to the Obama campaign.
