State Rep. LaVoy adjusts district availability hours

State Rep. Bill LaVoy (D., Monroe) has altered the district outreach hours he keeps to meet with constituents. On the first Monday of each month he will be at the Dorsch Library, 18 E. First St. in Monroe, from 10 to 11 a.m., and at the Frenchtown Senior Center, 2786 Vivian Rd., from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

On second Mondays of the month, he will be at the Ash Senior Center, 700 Carleton Rockwood Rd. in Carleton from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. and at the Carleton Library, 1444 Kent St., from 1 to 2 p.m.

On third Mondays, he will be at the Sumpter Senior Center, 23501 Sumpter Rd. in Belleview, from 10 to 11 a.m. and at the Maybee Library, 9060 Raisin St. in Maybee, from 12 to 1 p.m.

Fourth Mondays will find Mr. LaVoy at the Berlin Township Hall, 8000 Swan View Dr. in Newport, from 10 to 11 a.m. and at the Newport Library, 8120 N. Dixie Hwy. in Newport, from 12 to 1 p.m.

No outreach hours are set on Monday holidays. Mr. LaVoy will have special outreach visits on Aug. 8 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Little Brown Jug, 7697 Blue Bush Rd. in Maybee; on Aug. 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., he will be at the Flat Rock Senior Center, 1 Maguire St. in Flat Rock, and from 5 to 6 p.m., also in Flat Rock, at Salute!, 26123 E. Huron River Dr.
