Koebel beat out incumbent Nalley for Fremont’s first ward

FREMONT -- Michael Koebel beat out incumbent Don Nalley in a race today for the city of Fremont’s first ward city council seat, according to unofficial total election results from Sandusky County.

Mr. Koebel collected 54.4 percent of the votes.

In the city’s second ward, Kathy Stout defeated David Guardiola. Robert Gross narrowly won election in the city’s fourth ward, defeating challengers Joe Michles and Anthony Taylor.

Fremont Treasurer Holly Elder was re-elected, defeating Richard Holland II.
