Perrysburg mayor to talk at Way library

Olmstead will discuss his vision for city on Tuesday

Mayor Mike Olmstead will speak on his “Vision for Perrysburg” at Way Public Library on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Mayor Olmstead has been a Perrysburg resident for 17 years, city councilman for two terms, and past president of the Perrysburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

At 2 p.m. Sunday the library is hosting author Robert Matzen to speak on his book, Fireball: Carole Lombard and the Mystery of Flight 3.

Ms. Lombard, a popular Hollywood actress, died in a plane crash in 1942. The book covers her life and the lives of 21 others on the plane.

The library will provide refreshments at both events.
