Delayed Collins’ fete set for Feb. 28 in downtown
2/17/2014The event to honor Toledo Mayor D. Michael Collins, which was postponed after the deaths last month of two Toledo firefighters, has been reset for Feb. 28 at the SeaGate Convention Centre, 401 Jefferson Ave., in downtown Toledo.
The “Collins Cares Celebration” will start at 5:30 p.m. with a $1,000 per couple VIP reception. A cash bar and cocktail hour are to follow at 6:30 p.m., with dinner slated for 7:30 p.m. and entertainment afterward. Cost is $100 a person, with tables for eight available for $750.
