Former Seneca County commissioner files petitions to run for same job as independent
5/5/2014TIFFIN -- Dave Sauber, a former Seneca County commissioner, filed petitions today to run as an independent for commissioner.
Today is the deadline to file petitions to run as an independent in November’s general election.
Mr. Sauber lost a re-election bid in 2012 when Commissioner Holly Stacy defeated him in the Republican primary.
Two Republicans, Mike Kerschner of Tiffin and Philip Frankart of New Riegel, will face off in Tuesday’s primary. No Democrats are running for the post.
Commissioner Jeff Wagner is not seeking re-election.
