Aides to U.S. Sen. Rob Portman (R., Ohio) will hold an office hour Thursday at the Sylvania Branch Library, his office said.

Constituents are invited to share their thoughts or concerns with a district representative who will then report to Mr. Portman, according to a statement. The hour will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and no appointments are necessary.

“Keeping an open dialogue with constituents is a top priority for me and I encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity to talk to a member of my staff,” Mr. Portman said. “I’‍ve traveled to every county in the state and have found it helpful to hear about the issues that are of primary concern to Ohioans.”

The library is at 6749 Monroe St.
