Horseback riders are still welcome in Bluffton parks

BLUFFTON - Council has turned down a recommendation to ban horseback riding in city parks.

The recommendation was from the park board because of problems with horse manure on bike trails.

Walking and riding trails are available besides the bike trails. Council president Kurt Giesheimer suggested posting signs to keep horse riders off the bike trails before banning them entirely from the parks.
