Scott High graduate Nate Washington, who played at Tiffin University, hauled in one pass for 13 yards for the Pittsburgh Steelers in yesterday's AFC championship game, making his first catch of the season. He also prevented an interception in the end zone to keep the first Pittsburgh scoring drive alive.

Washington, who holds eight Tiffin receiving records, was considered one of the nation's top college receivers at the Division II level in his last two seasons

He is the Dragons' record-holder for receiving yards in a career (4,214), touchdown receptions in a career (47), receptions in a career (212), receptions in a game (13), receiving yards in a game (299), receptions in a season (70), receiving yards in a season (1,428) and touchdown receptions in a season (16).
