Maumee's Mike Ramlow, a left-handed hurler, had his best outing as a professional on Monday.
Ramlow is a starter for the Single-A West Virginia Power in Charleston, W.Va. The 20-year-old signed with the Milwaukee Brewers organization last summer.
He gave up four hits and one run over six innings against Kannapolis and left with a 4-1 lead. He did not get his fourth win; the Power lost 6-4.
Ramlow, who pitched for Owens Community College, is 3-2 with a 7.18 ERA. Ramlow, who is 6-6 and 185 pounds, has struck out 44 batters in 62 2/3 innings.
