Jimmie Johnson wins Quicken Loans 400

BROOKLYN, Mich. - Jimmie Johnson took advantage of a late-race pit cycle to win the Quicken Loans 400 today at Michigan International Speedway.

Johnson took over the lead with less than 10 laps left to earn his first win at the 2-mile superspeedway. Prior to today, the six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup championship was 0 for 24 at MIS.

Johnson finished ahead of Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Paul Menard and Kasey Kahne.
