A home-buyer workshop for African-Americans is scheduled for next weekend in Toledo.
It will follow a gospel music concert the night before.
On Saturday, a free workshop sponsored by NOIC - Home Mortgage Lender will run 9 a.m. to noon at Warren AME Church, 915 Collingwood Blvd.
The night before, from 7 to 10 p.m., the Hope, Home, and Harmony Tour, a gospel celebration of home ownership, will feature 13 local gospel acts.
The event, also free, is hosted by Bobby Jones, host of a show on Black Entertainment Television, and is at Friendship Baptist Church, 5301 Nebraska Ave.
In addition to the two churches, hosts or sponsors of the event include the First Church of God, the Fair Housing Center of Toledo, and BET.com.
