APARTMENTS FOR SENIORS NEAR LEVIS COMMONS

Steel for the clubhouse and swimming pool rise at an apartment complex for seniors in Perrysburg. A Dallas company with more than five dozen senior housing communities around the country is building the 157,000-square-foot project between Levis Commons and the Owens-Illinois Inc. world headquarters.

Expected to open in 11 months, Waterford at Levis Commons will have 146 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Rents will be about $2,400 a month, said officials with Capital Senior Living, developer of the project.
