     The Toledo Zoo is one of the world’s most complete zoos. It’s also the region’s top family destination! Let the Toledo Zoo take you from the Arctic tundra to the wilds of Africa, from the tropical rainforest to the Sonoran Desert and all points between -- all in one great day.

Lights Before Christmas

     During the holiday season, your Zoo transforms into a winter wonderland, featuring more than a million lights, 200+ images of your favorite animals, carolers, model trains and, through Dec. 23, visits with Santa. Come on Thursdays and see ice-carving demonstrations, too.

     Don’t miss the “electrical spectacle” Dancing Lights show, with state-of-the-art LED mini-lights synchronized to classic holiday tunes, all in the shadow of Cheetah Valley. While you’re enjoying the Lights, be sure to check out our 85-foot Norway spruce, adorned with more than 32,000 lights -- more than the famous Christmas tree in New York City’s Rockefeller Center. It was named the top holiday tree in the U.S. by Travelocity!
