Rabbi Shmuly Rothman of Chabad House-Lubavitch helps, from left, Alex Goldstein, Adam Rusgo, Trevor Kruszynski, and A.J. Federman make their own matzoh, or unleavened bread, from scratch for Passover, which begins at sundown April 23. Passover commemorates the Jews freedom from bondage in Egypt, and matzoh represents the bread of affliction baked by the Jews during
their hasty flight from Egypt, with no time for leavening.
