Local schools prepare for flagpole rally

See You at the Pole, an annual event in which students, faculty, and family gather at school flagpoles before the start of classes, will be held on Wednesday.

The theme for this year s event is Pray: call 2 me, based on the biblical verse of Jeremiah 33:3, Call to me, and I will answer you and I will tell you great and mighty things which you do not know.

See You at the Pole began in Burleson, Texas, in 1990 and last year more than 2 million teenagers participated in SYATP activities in the United States and around the world.
