The Toledo Diocesan Choir will sing about Virgin Mary at 3 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd.

The choir of 35 singers from parishes in the diocese, directed by Paul Monachino, performed in Spain in 2005 and 2007 and hopes to travel to France in 2013, but its customary place is in Toledo’s Roman Catholic cathedral, where the choir sings diocesan liturgies.

On the bill for this concert are Antonio Vivaldi’s “Magnificat,” Franz Biebl’s “Ave Maria,” and other selections. Organist Michael Gartz will play at the concert, performing G. F. Handel's “Organ Concerto in G Minor” on the cathedral’s Skinner organ.

Admission to the concert is free; a free-will offering will be collected.
