The Blanchard Avenue Pentecostal Church of God, 1701 Blanchard Ave. in Findlay, continues to collect donated items for Oklahoma relief after tornadoes.

The church hopes to fill two 53-foot semi trailers with donated supplies and send them to Oklahoma, working with Pentecostal Church of God National Home Missions, Friday.

“We still need a lot of items because we do have two trucks to fill, but we are very encouraged, very excited, and appreciative of items everyone has donated. It has been a real privilege to do this in our community, and we appreciate our community coming together,” said the Rev. L.D. Roessler, copastor of the church.

Duct tape, bottled water, pet food, air mattresses, and many other supplies can be taken to the church from 10 a.m. to 3 today, 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Three other locations are also collecting for this drive: Praise Chapel, 500 W. Broadway St., North Baltimore; In Faith Miniatries in Lima; and Family True Value Hardware in Bluffton. For a full list of suggested items for donation, see the church’s Web site at bapcg.com.
