St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church will host a free concert called “Music of Rachmaninoff, Poulenc — Song as Art” on Sunday featuring soprano Cheryl Babb, tenor Brian White, bass-countertenor Micah Graber, and pianist Amy Sujkowski.
The 45-minute, 4 p.m. performance will include “Seven Secular Songs” by William Presser, “Die Nachtigall” by Alban Berg, “In the Silent Night” by Sergei Rachmaninoff, “Breit uber mein Haupt” by Richard Strauss, “La Rosa y el Sauce” by Carlos Gustavino, and “On Wenlock Edge” by Ralph Vaughn Williams.
Freewill donations will be solicited from the audience to defray expenses.
