Max & Erma’s Restaurant, 1391 Arrowhead. Inspected June 24. Critical violations: All potentially hazardous food in cold holding must maintain 41 degrees or less. Currently held at 45 degrees or less but must be in compliance by March 2008. All food and food related product (dry stock) must stored at least 6 inches above floor. Inspector Kevin Halligan.
Applebee’s Bar & Grill, 4702 Monroe. Inspected June 25. Critical violations: Label all chemical spray bottles with the chemical name to avoid possible chemical contamination. Obtain a roll of paper towels for the hand sink in the bar to ensure proper hand washing. Label all bulk food products with the name of the food product. Also, bulk food containers must be covered to avoid potential cross contamination. Inspector Jeff Neistadt.
