The workers at 26 Toledo area Kroger stores have voted in a one-year contract.

Employees with United Food and Commercial Workers Local 75 approved today the contract, which expires March 29, 2014, according a news release from the UFCW Local 75 office out of Dayton.

Under terms of the contract, employee salaries and health-care benefits stay the same, but includes lump sum bonues and contract language changes that will allow workers to transfer between grocery and meat contracts, the release states.

It was unclear how many employees the contract affects in Toledo. The UFCW Local 75 represents almost 30,000 members along the I-75 corridor in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
