DUNDEE, Mich. — The Cabela’s outdoors store in Dundee will remain closed through the weekend as the company continues to clean up and restock after a fire Wednesday morning.

A company spokesman said the fire did not cause structural damage, but soot from the smoke and the chemicals used to extinguish the fire left residue on some merchandise, taxidermy, and store fixtures.

A reopening date has not been set, and customers should call the store at 734-529-4700 before visiting to ensure the store has reopened.
