COLUMBUS — Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and 22 other state attorneys general have asked the Urban Outfitters retail chain to stop selling its “Prescription Line” of glasses, coasters, mugs, and drink holders.

The products mimic prescription pill bottles and prescription pads.

“People die from accidental drug overdoses in this state every day, and these products make light of the problem,” Mr. DeWine said Wednesday. “We don’t find these products funny at all.”

The attorneys general said the highly recognizable labels on the products undermine efforts to educate about the dangers of prescription drug abuse.
