La-Z-Boy begins work on $57M headquarters
6/20/2013MONROE — La-Z-Boy Inc. will break ground today in Monroe on its $57 million world headquarters. The new facility will be located on a 120-acre block of land it acquired from the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The company said the three-story, 200,000-square-foot headquarters will house up to 500 employees and La-Z-Boy expects to move there in late 2014 or the first half of 2015.
It will be located about a mile from its present headquarters, which are North Telegraph Road.
